Good location as it’s 10 minutes walk from the very busy town centre, which means it’s quieter. Also managed to get a meal at the local pizza place no problem as restaurants in town can be booked out ! Great town with lots of outdoor activities and a nice garden for eating outside. Could do with an easier way of leaving the apartment deposit though e.g. credit card through the home away website as had to pay in cash Euros which have to be exchanged back to pounds at a loss.

I’m glad you enjoyed your stay with your family ; Regarding the deposit, I chose not to charge too much the tenant because the bank fees are high and the tenant should advance a significant amount ; I hope you find the opportunity to come back to France to spend your euros.
